This series is designed for those students who know they're right for specific shows and can't seem to get in front of the right people, those who'd like to work with the most influential up and coming directors, and those who want to better themselves to get their audition right and on point. The Resident Director Series is helmed by TGS's Danny George. Danny will coach students on material from the shows targeted, if a student is not right for all three shows, Danny will assign material in the vein of the show or material that shows the performer in the best light for upcoming projects the guest artist may be working on.

Private Vocal Coaching
***Each student will be assigned a 15 minute session with our vocal coach.
Each student will come in with sides previously assigned to them based on headshot/resume and role preference/suitability. Our vocal coach will work one-on-one on coaching material from the show(s). This will enable students to feel most comfortable and prepared when working with the show's resident, associate, or music director.
Acting the Song
Actors will work on material one-on-one in a group setting with TGS Director Danny George. Each actor will work on the show material with Danny. We will focus on flushing out the essence of the character and making unique choices to best market oneself and to put your best foot forward when meeting the artist the following week.
Students will work on material one-on-one with the Resident/Associate or Music Director. Students will present a cut from their book as well as prepared musical sides. There will be a Q & A if time allows.
