What are the workshop options?

Below are our sample workshop options.

An exclusive session with one of New York’s most sought-after Directors! Your group will explore the variety of approaches to stage basics, terminology and the craft of acting. Be prepared for topnotch training that will cover the foundational beginnings of acting.

Are your students Broadway bound? Our roster of actively working Directors will focus on audition appearance/demeanor, song selection, monologue choices, as well as acting for auditions. A rare opportunity to work with Broadway’s best!

Do you have students who are intent on landing roles in TV and Film? Then this on-camera audition workshop is not to be missed! Your group will work with a highly qualified Casting Director who will provide the perfect scene for the age and skill level of your group using materials from their recent projects. Students will work in an interactive group format, both receiving individual coaching and through observing the feedback provided to their peers.

Commercials are often the bread and butter of an actor’s career. This workshop will give actors exposure to an accomplished Casting Director who has cast hundreds of regional and national commercials. Throughout this workshop students will cover various techniques including the art of Improv, which has become essential in today’s market.

Gain invaluable experience and make unforgettable memories in this workshop where students learn the staging from a current or recent Broadway musical. Students should plan to wear comfortable clothes to move in.

This session will afford students the unique opportunity of speaking directly with actors and/or musical theatre performers who have worked on Broadway, TV and Film. The forum will begin with introductions, followed by an enlightening Q & A session and/or an ‘on your feet’ audition workshop.

You may be an exceptional actor, but are you ready for the business side of show biz? This engaging and informative seminar will review the eight essential marketing tools to have in place for an acting career. The seminar is an introduction to auditions in NYC, Casting offices, Talent Agencies and all the basic steps on how to pursue a career in acting.

Beyond the stage and behind the scenes, are the hardworking union members. The Equity Outreach program presented by an Actors’ Equity Association member is an opportunity to help students learn more about unions and the meaning of an Equity membership.
